LifeRoute Team Tries to Find Relief from the Smoke in Moscow

We recently received an email from one of our ministry leaders in Moscow.  She writes, "Visibility is near zero, the smell is awful. Hospitals don't have air conditioning, so if you get there with the heart disease, or breathing problems, you will most likely die.  Death rates have grown at least three times in Moscow, the morgues can't cope and have to keep the bodies standing on end. Authorities denied this at first, but the truth got through via Internet bloggers, so they had to admit it after that.

Because my mother, has asthma, and no air conditioner at home, we had to find her a hotel room with air so she can breathe. It is very expensive but necessary for her. However, my mother still gets out and leads seminars in these conditions, but at least she can get fairly good sleep. The air condition doesn't help against CO fumes, but at least takes the smell and some of the bad substances away.

The hotel is paid for until this Wednesday - after that we won't be able to afford it anymore. I keep praying for the smoke to be gone by that time.”

Although many of my colleagues have left Moscow, I am still working in the city. I must use a respirator. It helps a little because it takes away the nausea. Thanks for your support and assistance as well as your prayers. We are desperate.”

She has other health issues as does her mother.  Please keep them and the whole LifeRoute team in your prayers.  If you are able to support them financially please send your tax deductible gift to Sweeten Life Systems, P.O. Box 498455, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249-(Sweetem Life in Russia).
